Last week, two weeks ago in Miami, uh, former congressman David Rivera, Marco Rubio's best friend of life, was just convicted for using his connections to Marco Rubio and his former, uh, elected office to profit, uh, from, uh, representing the, the Maduro regime.

It happens with blue elected officials and red ef- elected officials.

Rubio had allocated about $29 million to FIU during his speakership, and at his new job, per NBC News, he worked less than 10 hours a week and skipped three of the 10 classes he was supposed to teach during the first semester.

Another shady ally of Rubio's is a guy named David Rivera.

Marco and David first met in the early 1990s as volunteers on the same political campaign.

In 1996, Rivera hired Rubio to work on Bob Dole's presidential campaign in Florida.

Rivera was there during Rubio's first campaign for West Miami City Commission.

He was serving in the Florida legislature at the same time as Rubio in the 2000s.

There have been more assassination attempts against President Trump than any other president in American history, and it's not slowing down.

Second thing you need to know, former Republican Congressman David Rivera was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Rivera was found guilty of working with the communist government in Venezuela, secretly lobbying the federal government on their behalf and laundering millions of dollars for his efforts.

Well, former US, uh, Representative David Rivera was sentenced Friday to 10 years in federal prison for his role in the secret $50 million lobbying campaign on behalf of Venezuelan government during the first Trump administration.

He was found guilty last May in connection with a secret $50 million lobbying campaign on behalf of the Venezuelan government led by former dictator Nicolás Maduro.
