Uh, this has been going on, you know, drivers are gonna make more, riders are gonna pay less.

It started with David-

It's gonna be busier.

Yeah.

Today, Lyft has grown well beyond its rideshare roots.

Under CEO David Risher, it now operates as a broader multimodal transportation platform, spanning bikes, scooters, and integrations with public transit systems.

But the underlying mission hasn't changed.

It's the same one Zimmer reportedly wrote on the back of his very first business card, showing how community can solve some of the biggest challenges we face.

They got some great biking initiatives.

Can the stock get back its, its groove? Well, let's check in with David Risher, the CEO of Lyft, to find out.

So, yeah, Oakland's pretty close compared to some of the places where I've gone.

I know that's one of the goals of the podcast, and I was thinking about, you know, I can connect you with Jennifer and David Risher, about half my DAF.

And And ironically, I was approached by a neighbor who, kind of funny, all roads relay back to Kathy Corson.

But I had been at her birthday party many years ago and met someone who had made a new contact, a new colleague, someone who bought a house on our street by the name of David Risher.

So he and his wife, Jen, have a house a couple doors up the street.

I've known them about 20 years.

But what that chart showed was Lyft was cheaper than Uber.

So David Risher, CEO of Lyft, reposted it, put a little line through it and put the other guys.

So it basically said, it's not your imagination, the other guys do cost more.
