David R. Boxley

I have been fortunate to work with some pretty great artists.

I learned under David Albert Boxley and David Robert Boxley.

They're like Tsimshian master artists, and David has carved over, like, 70 totem poles in his lifetime.

I, um, am a visual artist.

Um, who, who are your biggest influences, uh, early on, and who and what's influencing you today?

Yeah.

Um, definitely my mentors, David Albert Boxley and David Robert Boxley.

Um, I've been really fortunate to work with them because they're not only great artists, they're great people in the sense that, you know, they're very tied to their home communities and culture.
