Students reportedly worrying about joining the group could make them, you know, targets on campus.

David Peters, who's a 66-year-old gentleman, local conservative supporter and a former chairman of La Plata County GOP, says some Turning Point USA members have received anonymous death threats there.

He's also a retired Chevron executive, and he became a big part of the controversy himself after he went through a confrontation outside a student government meeting.

And according to the Fort Lewis College Police report, a student identified as Megan Elizabeth Millett who goes by Nova, what is that, struck this man, you know, grabbed his phone and hit him with a Taco Bell cup.
