Prosecutor David Pascoe, who unfortunately lost the Republican primary for state attorney general this year, filed a complaint against Judge Mullin in 2019 with the Commission on Judicial Conduct, accusing her of the, quote, "improper solicitation of ex parte communications, recording phone calls between parties without getting consent, having undisclosed conflicts of interest, and lack of professional competence, as well as allowing staff members to comment about pending judicial issues on social media." Pascoe again stuck his neck out in 2022 to ask the ODC and CJC to reopen his complaint against Mullin from 2019, which he said was dismissed and closed that fall with no explanation given to him.
