We had Pat Cox, who was previously president of the European Parliament.

We have, of course, other players in terms of David O'Sullivan, who is currently working on sanctions.

For the EU, we had Mairead McGuinness, who is both Parliament and the Commission, and we have our current, of course, reigning commissioner, Michael McGrath, who has also been visiting here in Eurofant and has spoken to us in this studio.

We also have several EU agencies across the European Union, and you may be aware that there are up to 50-odd EU agencies who specialise in particular areas of work, from pharmaceuticals, medical, food safety, right the way through to satellites and geostrategy.

So again, awareness, understanding, preparing our legal systems for those type of cases should be there.

Then on sanction sufficiency, and I really praise the EU's sanctioned envoy, David O'Sullivan, a distinguished Irish diplomat who is doing excellent work with whom we work closely.

to both understand how Russia evades sanctions, but also how to counter it.

And indeed, we are unanimous among EU countries that sanctions work.
