What if I told you that he played right back? And I watched him play at Highbury in an FA Cup tie in 1991 in a game where David O'Leary scored the most outrageous own goal, chipping David Seaman from about 40 yards.

Does that help you, Eddie?

It still doesn't, yes.

I'm the striker, obviously.

And David O'Leary wanted to play these balls in behind the defence, right? So I've looked at it and it's a diag, right? So I think it was Gareth Barry was the one that was teeing it up.

And then it's gone over the mannequin, but I knew the mannequin was there.

And this is how I knew the mannequins had changed.

And, uh, Sir Alex Ferguson always retires a year into that game, and David O'Leary always takes over.

But ultimately, I think the overriding feeling for me is...

I managed to achieve something that realistically, if you think back to me as a 12, 13-year-old boy watching Italia 90 and remembering vividly Pachy Bonner saving the penalty and David O'Leary scoring and Kevin Sheedy scoring against England and all these memories that are just ingrained in my mind that I was able to be part of that.

We've only qualified for three World Cups and every World Cup, the one that's just gone by now and There's so much disappointment that we're not there at another World Cup.

And we keep saying this over and over again.
