I thought that was funny right there.

But it is more John Mechie to the roster, I guess, or making him active.

And to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if David Moore somehow gets back into the fold.

Now, does this mean that David Moore gets elevated on game day? It kind of ties into a mailbag question that we had yesterday.

I think, yes.

You know, Bryson Tremaine, John Meche, you know, who has a history with Bryce.

David Moore was someone that the Panthers clearly have a history and a relationship with.

Jimmy Horn Jr. trying to earn a place.

But ultimately, they did decide to go with some of the younger guys.

So I think that also kind of added some fuel to that fire.

saw I was literally in the locker room and I was talking to I think I was talking to David Moore.

And then just out of the corner of my eye, I saw Joe Person getting a one on one with Haynes.

But...

We talked a lot about Mechie and Mechie versus David Moore and Mechie versus Jasim Reed.

But I do think Mechie's return skills helped him.

He had a good preseason.

I think so.

And I think that, you know, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that, you know, showing what he could do in the return game may have given him that slight edge over just scenery.

I think that either way, David Moore was going to be out like there's a youth movement and it was just time.

You know that there was just too much talent in that room, too much youth in that room.

And I bring this up because it does mean something.

When you look at the names on this practice squad, David Moore, who again, this is a guy that has started games in the offense.

He's lost a bit of a step, but he gives you special teams, you know, reliability.

Then you go back up to the receiver group.
