So talk to us a little bit about what was covered during the work session about SPLOST.
0:42
Yeah, Russell, good morning.
0:43
Glad to be here.
0:44
And you're right, it does seems like yesterday we were going around each of our commission districts, having our open houses, talking about what we were going to do.
0:56
Work session Tuesday was really what I'm going to say is the first of many sessions.
1:02
quarterly updates to come we're going to have a staff update each quarter of kind of where we are with our projects and and talk about the the implementation what what we did Tuesday at the work session is is and it was lengthy I understand that and encourage anybody that wants the the sort of behind the curtain look at it to go watch our work session they're posted on the website there but but it was really sort of a deep dive into the projects and what our goal there is is to increase the transparency so that if there's challenges that we're having on the project delays or something like that that's when you're going to hear that you'll hear it there so Also, we've got a fantastic team.
1:52
John Jefferson and his team up there in capital projects are doing a fantastic job.

But those guys are definitely due for an upgrade there, it sounds like.
17:54
And
17:54
it's because our brain is primed for it.
17:55
So our brain literally is like a real good of you put your attention to something and it's going to look or find for it.
18:01
So it's why people say like something really random out of nowhere and you look and your eyes are, it's like, where's Waldo? You're just zoning to try to find that exact thing.
18:08
So- One of the bigger problems I think in society is we live such high stress, high anxiety, high cortisol lives that everything is tiered to that negative.
18:19
And we're coaching our brains just by living life that we're in this loop of, hey, everything is wrong or everything is rough or bad.
18:27
And we expect the worst when we're in those situations.

Just whatever you can
10:28
As re- in that regard, Dave, so again the question is, my friend, how do you teach your clients about building systems before they automate?
10:38
So, and I love that question.
10:40
Uh, I, I, I come from an accounting background so, uh, my bread and butter of where I started my career was helping companies install, uh, procedures and policies to essentially make sure that they were successful.
10:51
And you're spot on.
10:51
On a, a personal level we can do this the same way and I feel a lot of people, uh, whether it's, as like no matter what you believe in, if it's, if you pray to God or if you pray to Jesus or if you believe in manifestation, an- any sort of that, whatever your belief pattern is, um, I'm big on, uh, that I think people treat that level of manifestation, I want something, I wanna get to this level of what you're talking about, and I think a lot of people treat manifestation like that like a vending machine.
11:18
Think it and expect it and that's a, a, essentially a, a problem in where you're going.
11:24
I think you have to go a level deeper.
