David Leadbetter

You know, what kind of like, where did you get some of the ideas your teaching is based on, and what do you do with students?

I've been very fortunate in my life to have a lot of influences of David Leadbetter.

David Leadbetter and I have been-

Mm-hmm

... have been friends over a long period of time.

So it's just something that I think I strive to get better at my job.

And I think if you don't keep asking questions, uh, it's just one of those things.

And I think with David Leadbetter, it's probably the best thing when I watched him give golf lessons at Champions Gate, and he was so great with telling me what he was doing.

"Oh, it's all nonsense.

How can a driver possibly learn from anybody?" Well, you know, David Leadbetter never won any golf majors, but he's still probably one of the best golf coaches in Formula 1.

You don't have to be a Formula 1 world champion to be able to teach Formula 1 drivers how to operate.

Equally, you don't have to be a Formula 1 world champion to do commentary that makes sense either, but that's another point.
