i i point these things out because again this is meant to be an intimidation tactic this is meant to be a message uh to everybody who vocally supports ukraine and again who just and i don't even be like oh vocally supporting ukraine saying simple things like russia is the aggressor or russia interfered with the us elections like things that are objectively agreed upon fact and the russians part of their goal is to say that makes you a target if you say things about russia your life is at risk and we'll be able to reach you it won't even be a russian-speaking guy it'll be a venezuelan it'll be a uh you know a third country national a lithuanian and yes russia seems to focus on uh Russian dissidents, but I'd like to point out that I think that you might recall several years ago, journalist David Knowles, this is someone who two years ago, actually two years ago almost to the day, was a British journalist and podcast news was reporting on Ukraine.

who hosted a wildly popular uk podcast uh called ukraine the latest right and on twitter spaces got tens of thousands of listeners during major political events uh he made four trips to ukraine to report on the conflict becoming one of the world's best most listened to news podcasts covering the war and had gotten nearly 100 million downloads by the time of his death uh And what is crazy is that he died in Gibraltar, 2024.

His death was investigated by police in Gibraltar, assisted by UK counterterrorism officers, and that he died of cardiac arrest.

And every time the UK police say it's nothing and the Spanish police are even more notorious for doing absolutely nothing.

Right.

You might recall that the Spanish also notably did nothing when the Russian defector, Maxim Kuzminov, was actually shot dead in Spain just eight months prior to the death of David Knowles.
