So, um, what type of food are we talking about? Are we talking canned goods and stuff in boxes? And is it like surplus and off-label, close to end date, past end date, whatever?

No. We're, we're very much like a grocery store in a lot of ways.

Um, so I purchase all the, most of the product, I purchase it.

Um, so we carry things from juices and cereal to salmon and tuna, pasta, um, to kosher-- And all the food is kosher.

Um, noodles, pasta, and then we get to our fleishig stuff.

We get to, you know, we have chicken, we have ground beef, we have, uh, frozen gefilte fish, we have ground turkey.

Uh, we carry eggs, cottage cheese.

So tell us about the philosophy of your hiring and your volunteer corps.

If zoning restrictions is the primary reason for some of this, why is Jacksonville experiencing the same housing affordability problems as much more restrictive cities?

That is an excellent question.

And what I would tell you is that the larger critique we make of the existing policies that are the dominant conventional ways to approach affordable housing, I would call them supply-side policies.

and tax breaks, incentivizing private developers, etc.

Another one is deregulation, right? And by deregulationist approaches, that means that you eliminate zoning regulations and you open it up to investors to be building homes.

Or apartments or whatever it happens to be so that you're not having exclusionary zoning, which implies that essentially you've got residential areas that are exclusively zoned for single family homes and single family homes of a certain size, a certain plot and other kinds of specifications.

I don't think there's anything wrong with reforming the zoning laws.

Do you think that the housing affordability crisis is primarily because of lack of supply? a crisis of investor ownership, or a crisis of poverty and wages? Or is it a combination of all of those? Yeah,

Now, does asking about whether you've experienced these things make it less likely that they'll then harm a client, or would it be more helpful to offer resources? I'm curious your thoughts on that.
