David Gest

Oh, mama, you can't.

She's not a well woman, but there's like an entire chapter where she just mercilessly slags off David Guest and it's brilliant.

Because he was an awful man.

So at this point, genuinely, especially considering the previous episode, I was wondering...

No, thank you.

That year was Dean Gaffney, David Guest, dead now, of course.

Of course, David's dead.

Jason Donovan.

Basically, and I'm sorry I have to say it, Nick, but I'm very disappointed in yourself.

I not only feel I'm quite positive and got evidence that you're plotting a very dirty plan on everybody in here to vote against each other and stare at David from you.

It's great that you've got your mum saved as mother as well That makes it feel like you're being phoned by a sort of gay icon Oh my god, mother Mother's calling Quite embarrassing for

me James,

winners up on the right.

Oh, check this out.

Ryland Clark, Jim Davidson, Gary Busey, Katie Price.

Who's Stephen Bear? oh my god Steve

In fact, years later, my husband and Tristan wound up at 9-11 together.

because they were both involved with David Guest's thing at Madison Square Garden with Michael Jackson the night before and Tristan was friends with David Guest and my husband was a synthesizer player and he was also performing at Madison Square Garden on the 10th of September and 9-11 was so they bonded over that and Yeah, he was a lovely human.

Yeah, that's what I didn't know him.

And you also worked with this great gentleman.

Love Parks and Rec.

Some like David Guest, a little bit of A Mighty Wind when you're like trying to get the guitar going and you're kind of just like going like this.

Like, you know, a little bit of Elvira, a little bit of that Vincent Price because you are bringing in your friends, whether via phone call or video call or, you know, in person.

And then, of course, you reference Scream, The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween.

I know.

Like that, but I didn't know I could do all that, right? So then I've done it, I've got through again, haven't I? Next minute I'm sat in front of David Gest, David Ian, the biggest man in the West End, Brian Friedman, and, uh, Sinitta.

Right? That's how...

I'm there.

What's your email address?" And I was like, "Why?"

Was that because he saw the David Guest thing where you thought he was dead in the bed? [laughs]

[laughs]

That is classic-

Right.

Um, but did you know that he is brother of David Guest?

I didn't know that, no.

Yeah.

He is brother of David Guest.

[laughs] That's fascinating.

Thank you for that tidbit of information.
