They talk about the Kennedys, like, a lot, so, a- and it's pretty funny.

I, I did, I did a rewatch of it recently and, uh, um, you know, you have David Ferrie with the weird eyebrows and Frank Sh- Sheeran delivering truck of something to him.

It's fascinating.

It's kinda creepy when you know he died right afterwards.

During the Garrison area for that, for that trial in February of two, uh, 1967, David Ferrie, you know-

Yeah

... involved with the mob and with the CIA and gun running, uh ... sitting next to two typed signed farewell notes.

You know, if you die of natural causes, you don't leave suicide notes.

[laughs] So the coroner, uh, probably made a mistake there.

But at the same day, in Miami, another CIA agent, Eladio Del Valle, Ferry's anti-Castro paymaster associate, was tortured and shot through the heart, skull split with an ax.

Same day, second city.

You have Guy Bannister, who is a former FBI agent.

a big one, a big fish in the FBI at one time, you have allegations of him dealing with his anti Castro Cubans and, and Lee Harvey Oswald and David Ferry and all of these other suspect people, uh, in new Orleans.

But they did their investigations.

Were they biased? I don't know.

And I think that, uh, one of the things that writers like Posner, like, uh, Gus Russo, and others who have written, when they don't distort the Louisiana evidence, they simply leave out what's inconvenient.

That's one of the, uh, tactics, and I think that's true, for example, in Ultimate Sacrifice, that mafia book, where you'd never even know that Oswald traveled north of Baton Rouge with Clay Shaw and David Ferrie, and what the implications of that trip were, which I think is, th- this evidence that Oswald actually took a trip with two CIA operatives, Shaw and Ferrie, up there north of Baton Rouge, it seems to me it breaks the case.

What is he doing up there? It's clearly that there's an assignment, because Oswald is asked to go to get a job at the East Louisiana State Hospital at Jackson, which is an insane asylum.

And, uh, a- and, uh, he doesn't even know that.
