David Elson

We'll continue to, um, you know, work with that, uh, for the most part.

Um- You know, we moved, uh, Coach Ivy up to the booth the last game, so now we have Coach Ivy, Coach David Elson, and Coach Mike Cassidy sitting together upstairs, uh, you know, handling the play calling.

And I, and I think that they've, uh, continued to, to grow, to grow with that.

And, and, uh, like I said, the last three quarters was the, the most efficient that I've seen us play.

Led Western Kentucky to its only national championship in 2002.

All right? I don't know who David Elson is.

Transitioned the program from FCS to FBS.

Willie Taggart was there for a couple of years.

Well, I think, um, you guys may have misheard me.

So, so game day we had, uh, Coach Mark Ivy, uh, and Coach David Elson, uh, upstairs along with Mike Cassidy.

Uh, Steve Ellis was on the field.

Uh, so that was, uh, uh, the setup.

He cares deeply about winning.

Um, you know, he understands, I think, what we need to do.

Um, uh, Coach Ivy and, and Coach David Elson, uh, worked in conjunction upstairs, uh, with Coach Cassidy, uh, to, um, you know, put their heads together and, and, and, and get the d- defense called and get us on the right page and get us out there and lined up and set.

Uh, Steve Ellis was down on the field, um, like he always has been, uh, making sure our defensive backs are, uh, up to speed and doing what we need them to do as much as we can.
