But you think of guys like Marquise Pouncey, David DeCastro, Cam Hayward, T.J. Watt, those guys.

There was always those guys that were Mr. Steelers that when they played at a high level, they would get respected, they'd get paid, and there might be a little bit of – Tense moments here and there, but eventually the organization would take care of you.

And it seems like Joey Porter Jr. wanted to be taken care of, and he didn't get what he wanted.

And then David DeCastro getting suspended for games because he started.

He's like, well, someone fucked my quarterback.

I got to fight.

You're not going to do that.

Or for that matter, keeping it local, the next Marquise Pouncey or David DeCastro or someone who was a really, really high first round pick.

But a lot's been put into this line in terms of draft capital, in terms of financial capital, in terms of time and playing guys and everything else here.

And at some point, you should just be able to cobble together five of them of a certain age group and say, go get it, Chris.

He's going to make a difference for this team, even if all he is the rest of the way is ordinary.

Brock Hoffman he's not going to be David DeCastro for you.

But if Hoffman goes out there and is just plain old competent, trying to be nice here, that's going to represent a significant upgrade on the line.

And then, in turn, now you see the best of Zach Frazier.

He was a day-three pick.

He's a nice find in the fourth round, but he's not David DeCastro or anybody like that.

And then the right guard is Spencer Anderson, who's a seventh-round pick from a few years ago.

And honestly, I thought he was so poor, so bad that you could argue benching him for this game against New England.
