And, and then Ricky Ponting, I'm not gonna say made, he made it even better at cover point, but it was close with what he was able to do, the way he hit the stumps from side on, and just again, the aggressive nature of stopping that single into the offside.

Gus Logie at bat pad's another one that kind of revolutionized that position, made it his own, and then like the likes of David Boon on top of that.

And they didn't ask AB to turn up, and so he got the shits.

I know you're all over this sort of stuff, Pete, but I'd love to hear where you think the game of cricket is in this country.

If I told you a week ago that Nick Maddison was going to make the Test Squad and that David Boone was going to be the chairman of Cricket Australia, which bit of news would have been the most surprising? What a mess.

What a stinking, horrible mess.

Didn't even speak about the fact that, uh, Mike Baird has stepped down from the Australian Cricket Board and that, uh, perhaps Ed Cowan's gonna be the New South Wales representative come onto the board.

The great David Boon is the interim chairman.

Uh, and also perhaps, perhaps we won't see, uh, a massive sale of the BBL immediately, uh, after all, which would be a great thing, I think, for Australian cricket.
