But if you look at Birkeland currents and the way those work, it seems as though the sun is doing just fine feeding on plasma.

In labs, plasmas, plasmoids, plasmids, however you say it, David Bohm called them plasmids.

He also called them alive, by the way, because they eat electricity.

If you introduce electromagnetic fields into their environment, they'll eat the electricity like a substance and they'll grow and they'll merge and then duplicate.

He spent a little bit of time talking about his experience of the difference between being happy and being contented, and he realized that he's not bouncing up and down joyfully happy, but he's far more contented in his life today been supplying these tools actively in his life than he has been in the many years he's been alive.

So that's what we're inviting ourselves to do, is to use the tools, whichever tools work best for us, and to understand that, as I was reading some David Bohm and Krishnamurti again, to understand that there's a process in our own thought, in our pattern of thought, there is a process that prevents us from being productive when we apply our thought to our emotional upset.

We try to figure out why we're upset or what has gone haywire in our lives intellectually.

And all we end up doing is deepening our stuckness right we're digging a ditch deeper and longer and and wider but we're still in the ditch and um and i've had a number of situations recently that in my life that certainly didn't turn out the way i would have planned them or have designed them and yet I'm amazed at the ability of the use of these tools to get me back in balance and to get me into that contented space and to allow me to ask daily moment to moment.

He allowed himself to draw or paint and have discussions on philosophy with other thinkers.

And one of his most influential collaborators was a quantum physicist, David Bohm, who had a long association with an Indian mystic, Jiddu Krishnamurti.

and they would have philosophical discussions.

He originally became famous through the Theosophical Society, but then he kind of rejected the idea of being part of any specific organization or tradition.

He was a gentleman and he got shouted down by Niels Bohr and he said, that's fine and walked off.

But in the 50s, Einstein pushed a fellow called David Bohm to further develop this model.

It's now called the de Broglie Bohm model of quantum mechanics.

And it's a quantum realist model.

It kind of reminded me also of some stuff you had recommended quite some time ago.

I think this was your recommendation was – David Bohm's work on dialogue.

Yeah.

And the way he kind of talks about it in there is just observing the process of thought, not necessarily the content, but the process of how when somebody says something and then there's that trigger that's so subtle that you talk about, and then there's this impulse, there's this impulse, and there's this necessity, he calls it a necessity, a need to do something, say something, feel something, not feel something.

Oh, goodness.

Well, and I kept thinking, too, about that pinhole piece, that pinhole of a perception.

And back to David Bohm's book, he's like, everything is an assumption.

It's all a conclusion.

And for me, that ties into the idea that the awareness of wholeness is never going to come from a broken mind.

Remember, we've talked about David Bohm.

And David Bohm, physicist, you know, this is a genius man.

He worked with Einstein.

He developed some of the math that allowed them to build the atomic bomb.

They were kind of a meta life.

Well, in the 50s, there was a famous plasma physicist by the name of David Bohm, very well-known man in standard physics.

This was his bag, plasma physics.

And he suddenly quit all of his plasma experiments.
