I'm Mark Stone in Dallas, Texas.

And I'm David Blevins in Washington, D.C.

And David, I'm here in the Lone Star State for the big midterm Republican convention here in Dallas.

But that's been a great excuse to get beyond this city, beyond the cities, in fact, into the countryside and find out what Trump's base makes of him two years after they propelled him to the White House.

And I remember well, in the early hours of Sunday, the 6th of July, 1997, I remember vividly driving back from an event in Tralee, County Kerry, because of the growing tension over unionist demands to march down the Garbahia Road.

And I arrived home in Belfast as David Blevins of Sky News broke the news that hundreds of British soldiers in the IUC had swamped the nationalist streets of Garvahy Road.

Protesters were swept aside and the Orange Order got its march.

There were widespread civil disturbances as nationalist areas reacted to developments.

David, we'd be nowhere without our cameraman colleagues, would we? But every now and again, they find the phrases to bring us down a peg or two.

And you just had that.

Yeah, just before we started recording, I spotted in the monitor that one of the lights seemed to be too bright.

That is an Irish suntan.
