In the moment, I felt awful.

And in fact, what gave rise to it, even before I got the letters of rejection, was I had written the LSAT test, the aptitude test for law school, and I had gotten a perfectly acceptable score that would have got me in to lots of schools.

And I thought that I would get greedy and try to redo the test and increase my score.

And at the time, if you got a second result that was a certain percentage lower than the first one, they eliminated your first one and only took the worst score.

And that's what happened to me.

And that's what wound up getting me punted from every Canadian law school.

Um, you know, we had a bad day in Brampton.

Uh, you know, and lots of criticism, and lots of criticism about what happened there, about how the league dealt with it, and all that stuff, and that was a bad day.

Um, and you can't judge a league or a person based on a bad day.

And for our league, you know, leaving aside who won or lost this game, this was a great day for the league, and I'm highly optimistic about the future of this league.

Did you, did you have a pinch me type of moment tonight? Whether it was after you guys won or as the game was leading up to it or anything, like was there a certain moment tonight where it was kind of like a pinch me type of moment?

sort of treating Fisher like an expert in a weird way, kind of flattering him to encourage him to say more, to say something to implicate himself.

Hirsch was taking him through one particular victim and Fisher interrupted him and actually improved the position that we were trying to make by elaborating on details that brought him even closer to what had happened to Gail Miller.

And he did it because his ego didn't want to allow us to miss something of the way he committed his crimes.

The justices, a lot of them, their eyes just went straight down and they were, I think they were probably saying, I can't believe that just happened.

At this point, it's been almost 50 years since his arrest.

There was a moment when he took control of the room and he actually took a mic, a handheld mic, and he was walking around the room.

And he was getting very emphatic about what had happened to him, how it can happen to you.

The system is imperfect.
