Second term, it says 1979, he can't run for governor any longer.

David Treen has won governorship, and, uh, he's about to take office.

So they come to the prison, they said, "Look, Edwin Edwards is gonna commute the sentence of all the people that works for him, so we're gonna need 17 guys to go down to the governor's mansion." I couldn't believe that I was chosen to be a part of that.

For all the people that was interviewed, and they wind it down to the 17, and I was part of the 17.

I remember the time he did that.

I remember in between there, you had, I don't know, before, it was Dave Treen, he was governor, and then the other time, Buddy Romer, and then here he is coming back.

And, yeah, we've seen that.

And there's something to look at with that one.

I guess so, yeah.
