So you've been well supported by some famous DJ names in Sasha and Digwed and also Dave Seaman.

Can you tell us about how those relationships came about?

Yeah, absolutely.

You can, you know, come and stay at my house.

Yeah, we'll hook you up.

But Dave Seaman was the one because he was working at DMC where he said, look, I can't promise you anything, but if you come over, I'm sure we can find something for you to do.

So I was a T-boy.

So we got some decks at home, which Sasha was kind enough to get for me from Disco Mix Club because you could get, if you're a member of DMC, you could get them a bit cheaper.

So I think Dave Seaman brought them up from Slough, I think it was where DMC was, to Shelley's one night on a Friday for Sasha to then... pick up and take them and then I worked in dry at the time and I got to dry on the Saturday evening for my shift and there was two Technics boxes in the back bar area

That's a lot of name drops.

Yeah.

So how did Dave Seaman and Sasha become part of the story? Because obviously, as you mentioned, they were at Shelley's in Stoke.

Yeah, yeah.

And like, obviously, I've n- had Sasha support my music, and he's been a big, um, big supporter, supporting my music, playing my music all over the world.

But then to have, like, Hernan Cattaneo doing the same, and even, like, Danny Howells and Dave Seaman and Andy Pappa, yeah, it's pretty...

Very, we're very...

Yeah, I think me and the other people trying to break through, we're very fortunate to be in a scene where it is such an amazing community, where everyone wants to band together and help each other.

It's like the, the Lloyd and Medway track from this year's Balance-

... where I'm with, I'm with Lloyd in the crowd, and it's Papa and Dave Seaman in the DJ booth, and Lloyd hears his track coming in.

And we have, like, we have such a good system now, I feel like, between the three of us, where, like, like, communication travels like that.

Um, so it created quite a buzz.

Anyway, during the negotiations, um, you know Dave Seaman? Mm.
