But tell us a little bit about how did you come to be working? Because when you look at the lineup of the people who were involved in the recording of your song, They're a very different lineup to the Elton John band that then followed.

It happened quite a lot.

Elton John was relatively new on the scene at that point.

And he probably hadn't got his band together.

So we were session guys.

And so we were often played with people that have a hit record and then they form a band or whatever.

We often didn't know what happened to their, you know, we were doing so much stuff.

yeah yeah but who would you say you admired the most let me frame it in that way

And then it was that that basically led you to the bass? Yes.

Absolutely.

In those days, you know, all the young men got called up to military service.

Yeah, so call up was coming, you know, so that you were called up around about 17 to 18 years old.

And my mother heard an announcement on the radio and it said, the Royal Air Force is seeking young men to train as musicians.

And she was mad about music, but I'd had no proper, I'd learned to play the Hawaiian guitar.

hard bit you know and she applied for it she on my behalf didn't say a word to me because if she'd been to me about military service and all that i just wouldn't have gone along with it you know i was a very awkward kid but anyway i got back from attending the torquay technical college doing a commercial course at shorthand typing and all that and bookkeeping

But did you play the double bass before you went into the military or only because of going into the military?

Yes.

So what is the U brush is it's kind of like, I can say the difference between a regular toothbrush that is passive, passive, meaning it just sits there.

Right.

And an electric toothbrush is, a real electric toothbrush that moves the bristles in a way that they have an effect that's positive for removing blah from your teeth, not damaging the teeth.

i mean you already have um and it makes me want to say ooh so sorry um but but i feel like it's a good thing um in this case uh tell me a little bit more about things that sort of distinguish this brush from others that are on the market when people are like oh i already have a detangling brush all of this stuff um why why should they consider your brush
