What you're basically asking is, how come...

We can know something is a problem and profess to care about that thing being a problem, but not act in a way that you might conclude is the logical conclusion of that.

It's basically what you're asking, right? And I think that is like implicit in there is a model of how humans act.

get through life and go around the world and their lives which i don't think is how it actually works like what what you're basically suggesting in there is that we do stuff when we have the right information and where we care about something our behaviors follow it I think that's sort of kind of true, but I think there's so much other complicated stuff going on there.

And you're missing out if you don't jump on this bandwagon.
