Dave Mercer

Uh, so that was kind of the, the, uh, the formula that they, that they used in 2026.

And I, I'm gonna just go ahead and, and use the, uh, Dave Mercer on air while they were flipping the coin when he was asked, "Do you think it worked well in 2026 to have the 50/50 split?" He said, "Well, I think this year was the least amount of bitching I've ever heard on the Elite Series concerning forward-facing sonar ever since forward-facing sonar has been out." Um, 'cause ki- kinda everybody got a little something of what they wanted.

And, and I, and I think that's why Bass Master is gonna, gonna do it again.

They're gonna do forward-facing sonar one more year here in, in 2027, and it looks like at least for the Bass Master Classic, it, it affected the, uh, 2028 Bass Master Classic as well because that Classic is gonna be a no forward-facing sonar Classic.

It's going to be ranking all of the Pixar movies.

So I'm Dave Mercer.

I guess I would call myself your host.

With me is my beautiful bride, Tia Mercer.

The one from Thousand Islands, my last Elite event, was one of two.

And I gave that one to Dave Mercer.

Shout out to Dave Mercer.

I couldn't think of anybody better.

to give that red jumpsuit to Dave Mercer.
