Mm-hmm.

It was initially the, the, the, the rope and, and ladder kind of stuff really.

Um, and we gradually bought our own kit, and then started to explore the caves, uh, further and further ourselves.

And, you know, it's one of those things really that, you know, we started to, again, get some literature, get some books, look at some surveys and, you know, we started to see the s- you know, the scale of what was available for us to, uh, explore on Mendip, and, uh, decided that that was, you know, something we wanted to do.

So we, um, ended up joining, uh, the Wessex Cave Club.

Um, sort of long-term members with the, uh, Wessex.

Um, and they're ideally placed right in, uh, Priddy, uh, walking distance of Swildon's Hole, East Water Cavern, and a number of other caves.

So what links you as a dry caver to scuba diving? [laughs]

Because in January of 2020, I bought the business and we had three good months.

And we had three normal months.

And in the March, it was doing all right.

And I just had a, I suppose there was between £30,000 and £40,000 in the bank account, which was more than I'd ever seen in my life before.

in any account, but this was a business account.

And I thought that's a good quarter.

But can you tell me about the circumstances of getting PTSD and how you were held hostage?
