Dave Foley

Patrick Stewart was married a couple of times.

As anybody in those situations and dealing with lawyers and everything, you deal with a lot of courts and you deal with court i don't know i mean i do have his book and i have his audio book which i recommend because he reads it and he's got a great voice but um dave foley if that name sounds vaguely familiar if you saw a picture of dave foley you would know who dave foley is he was one of the kids in the hall he was the redheaded kid in the hall i thought him and mark mckinney were probably the two funniest kids in the hall although all of them were great and did their roles the way they should he went on to be on news radio dave foley did and he got divorced they're all canadian uh the kids in the hall by the way if you don't know started off in canada i used to be able to watch it on cbc channel 9 before it came to hbo and uh it comes from a i think it was a jack benny joke or a jack benny statement he used to go out and in the lobby of the building there were a bunch of aspiring comedy writers And he would hear some of their jokes before his show.

And if he liked one of them, he'd buy it from them and perform it on the show.

And that's why they were there is to hopefully sell Jack Benny a joke and then eventually parlay that into a job.

Great show.

Almost a little too Canadian, but having grown up Canada adjacent, I can get over that.

But Dave Foley got divorced near the end of his run on news radio.

And if you know anything about network television, you're paid quite well if you are on a weekly television show.

The episode featured the crew of the Enterprise taking shore leave on a planet with a Vegas-y vibe, and was timed for release during the convention for a fun tribute to fans and the event.

In addition, comedian Dave Foley, who appeared in the episode, was a guest at this year's convention, and he had a fun Q&A panel.

He is a lifelong fan of Star Trek and was thrilled to guest star in an episode, and shared that his daughter told him she had never seen him look happier than when he was on the sets of Strange New Worlds.

Another highlight of STLV this year was seeing most of the cast of the latest series, Starfleet Academy.
