And a lot of us have done this without really interrogating the depth of evidence that supports these beliefs.

And so what's really interesting is So Dave Fleischer, back in 2008, he and his colleagues developed what is kind of the gold standard of like interpersonal persuasion in many ways.

It's called deep canvassing.

And basically what Dave and his colleagues found is that, you know, there is no argument, no superior argument that's really going to change many people's minds on the core like sociopolitical issues.
