It was 2002 for the Banff Center for the Arts three-week jazz workshop.

I think they had just ceased to call it the jazz workshop, and it had changed names to the workshop for... jazz and creative music, I think, run by Dave Douglas at the time.

He was the head of the program.

And after I did that program, my life completely changed because I started to see, by virtue of meeting musicians from all around the world, really, and especially the faculty, many of whom were based in New York City, I started to see a different future for myself as a musician, as a writer, as And specifically as a singer, different ways that I could use my voice.

So It Goes With Lyrics is available on Bria Skonberg's vocal album called Indigo, released in July.

Bria Skonberg was a past performer at the Festival of New Trumpet Music, founded by trumpet player Dave Douglas.

This year's edition takes place from September 14th to the 20th at venues in the New York area.
