Dave Chappelle's Block Party

Trust me.

When Tell Me When to Go came out, we first heard it when, um, we were shooting Dave Chappelle's Block Party.

Yeah.

And we were all backstage.

And, yeah, we're going to listen to a track from another documentary, I guess, film that I absolutely love, one that popped in my mind, especially when I was thinking of film and music.

And the one that popped in my mind was Dave Chappelle's Block Party.

You know... don't need to talk about danger in modern era but let's talk about you know that how incredible that movie was and how community building that was in some ways and some of the tracks in there are iconic some of the performances are so good i think of uh you know the boom performance with big daddy kane and cool g rap and the roots in there and uh you know we're gonna listen to that one alongside a most death track from that same album as well just because you know i haven't listened to this album in a while and i figured why not revisit some of my favorite music from this one specifically so let's listen to that and then when we get back we're gonna give away some tickets so keep it locked and uh get those get those phones ready get those texting fingers and thumbs ready because yeah let's get into it

that creates such a melody Brooklyn go ladies it's our living dream it's

Another Space.

We just heard the track Boom, the live album version by The Roots, Big Daddy Kane, and Cool G Rap.

And that's from Dave Chappelle's Block Party.

Before that, we also heard Universal Magnetic.
