And, you know, you're the only state that had any sort of public vote when joining this complaint because of one of your commissioners said, wait a minute, let's talk about this, right? Like they were voting on the same day about a meta project and this portfolio of projects.

which then came to pass that Davante Lewis was correct, right? Like he raised concerns about how, you know, opposing this portfolio projects would impact the decision that they also made in the same breath of the of the meeting with Meta.

And, you know, lo and behold, he was right.

And when they asked, like, hey, have we figured this out? You know.

I talked to three elected officials deep in the work of regulating AI data centers, Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, Georgia Public Service Commissioner Peter Hubbard, and New York State Rep Emily Gallagher.

We talked about the challenges of finding information about proposed projects, the pressures elected officials face from industry, and what they see coming next in their communities.
