The part of this video, once I tell you a trade target, is we go over to the fantasycalc.com trade database.

This pulls up 7 million trades from real fantasy football leagues across the board.

I have it set for 2-4 assets in a trade, 1 quarterback, 10-14 teams, half and full PPR, no tight end premium.

And then in terms of what you can buy – Or what you can sell to get Cam Scataboo.

And so [laughs] what are you doing now at Google?

Database is probably the only thing I know at this point, but yes.

[laughs] I like to say I have two jobs at Google.

I lead transactional databases for Google Cloud, but I have a second job.

And so it's easy to forget, but this remarkable industry, this system, this set of technologies has been around now for fifty years.

But the truth always was about building reliable systems, making sure you get exact results for your data, and something I like to call database dogma.

Database dogma is really being focused on specify what you want, having a declarative notion of what you want, and where the system goes and figures out how best to do it.

And there have been all kinds of excursions around this.

TigerData, we started off in the IoT world.

And what we've become now is a, we're becoming the operational database for the physical world.

And

what's been really fascinating for us is this industry used to be a little boring, a little slow, compared to the rest of what we see in kind of San Francisco.

If you have a natural gas, that's telemetry.

And so what we found is...

Anyway, the role we're playing is the database for all that data gets aggregated along with business logic so that people can make sure bad things don't happen.

Because in this world, if your database goes down, it's not like people can't log in.

Verify it is complete.

External entities, anonymous visitor, authenticated author, admin, processes, authentication service, create slash read post API, comment handler, data stores, users, DB, posts DB, session store, and all data flows with clearly marked trust boundaries.

If your diagram is missing a boundary or an element, fix it before continuing.

The quality of your threat analysis depends entirely on the accuracy of the DFD.

Before they speak.

To anyone, the question is who to speak to, okay? Which account looks like the ones that already had a success or worked in the past? And who does the buying at that account? What are the contacts, details in place in my CRM, in my DB, in my database? And are they still real, you know? It would take one hour, maybe more, maybe less, but roughly we are in this magnitude.

Okay.

And, but that's for just to give you the pitch now, none of this is selling.

So what we do, in fact, is whatever is the complexity or the richness of the stack, we are having an overlay that is, in fact, little by little being the unique interface.

So I give an example, extreme example.

A company that has no CRM or not satisfied of the CRM, we just need the DB, okay? And we will play the role of the CRM.

There is a CRM in place.

and the the wastage or pilferage um or uh lost inventory is quite a lot a lot of people doesn't talk about it uh so Now, my issue is how do we perfect this, right? How do we ensure that we can basically build something which works offline and online Maybe there is a beautiful future where every country decides that, yes, we need seamless internet in flight.

Hence, we will have a smooth implementation with any standard solution, standard DB, standard technology, standard products available in the market.

I believe it will be at least 10 years.

It's a way off.

You can access the database and get some data.

Now, it is not like that.

It can be text, it can be a PDF file, image, DB, Not only that, it can also go to internet and take relevant information, how to handle a situation.

So that operational intelligence and the data layer, it's all coming along as a package.
