But I will say if it does reflect a loosening of standards, if the idea is that there's At times, they don't use the DTO designation because they don't have the evidence to suggest that this is a DTO.

Let's recall, this designation is itself a total fabrication of the administration.

It's applied entirely using its own discretion.

The smell appears when you reuse that same getter as a shortcut for business logic instead of adding the method the logic actually belongs to.
