Dashlane

Well, that's why everyone sort of goes, OK, you know what? It is going to be password 123 because you're going to ask me for it every time in different ones, in different places.

Hence why 1Password, Dashlane or whatever it is, is popular because it's just so confusing, isn't it?

My Asus ProArt, which is my joy at the minute.

You know, people like Alison over there at Podfeet likes to make fun of.

Now, the one that I like is called Bitwarden.

I also like 1Password and I like another one called Dashlane.

There are many of them out there.

what I would do is take a look at the different features they have and see which one works best for you.

Some of them have a free level, like something like a Dashlane.

They'll give you a free level.

But when you start to look at the features you need, you may not, that free level may not work for you.

But at the end of the day, they still have a very good service.

There's RoboForm.

There's Bitwarden and Dashlane.

Just Google password manager.

You'll find them, right? Download a password manager.

It is just a simple browser extension.

Think of RoboForm, OnePass, LastPass, Dashlane, Keeper, whatever browser extension you might be using to log into a carrier portal to save your password.

It's similar to it, but it's not there to autofill your passwords.

It's there to autofill the insured details, the contact details, the household, the drivers, the properties, the commercial line details.

So Android's the next company to implement this.

And so they're working with Bitwarden, 1Password, Dashlane, and Google Password Manager all on Android.

I think Android 8 or later, so that goes way back.

So anyway, that's a good thing, and I'm really glad that Google is doing that with Android.

[page flips] Earlier this week, Google announced an Android system-backed transfer method for passwords and passkeys without requiring any intermediate steps, like downloading credentials into an unencrypted text file.

Currently, Google Password Manager, 1Password, Bitwarden Password Manager, and Dashlane are supported, with more options likely to follow.

[page flips] In an interview with Fortune on Friday, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman confirmed the company will not seek an IPO in 2026.

Altman told Fortune, quote, "I actually think that, given everything happening with safety, right now would be an ill-advised moment to go public, and we don't feel pressure on that." Back in June, The New York Times first reported OpenAI was debating pushing back the IPO into 2027.

And, uh, it says that, "Right now, the transfer experience is supported by Google Password Manager, 1Password, Bitwarden, and Dashlane.

Other partners can participate by supporting the Credential Manager's Credential Transfer API." So hopefully we will see that roll out to more people here pretty soon.
