I was just really from an early age drawn to, like, that authentic, emotional, confessional storytelling and honesty in music.

And so from there it was, it was, like, them, and then more emo-leaning stuff like Dashboard Confessional.

And then when I was graduating high school, Jack Antonoff released the first Bleachers album, and that was the first time where I realized, like, oh, it's possible to, like, do all this stuff yourself and, like, also do that for other people.

And, like, that was the... where it clicked in my head, and I was like, "That's what I wanna do," and that kind of put me on a course of really getting into production and deep diving into that.

We also have Leonard Skinner.

And then on Friday night, we have Matchbox 20 with Dashboard Confessional opening up for them.

Hopeless Records, which started with punk and pop-punk in the mid-90s, shows how an indie label can evolve into a multi-genre powerhouse by embracing digital distribution, streaming, and social media while still maintaining physical releases for collectors.

Then there's Asian Man Records, a tiny operation that never let growth compromise its DIY integrity.
