Daryl Harper

I mean, for example, I know some cricket teammates of mine, some Indian cricket teammates of mine, We talk about umpiring of India, but they talk about the umpiring in Australia.

There's a famous Sachin Tendulkar ducks into a bouncer and is given out LBW by Daryl Harper.

And I still, when I ask, I ask Ash at my cricket club, who's your favorite umpire in world cricket? He goes, not Daryl Harper.

And I couldn't even remember that it was Daryl Harper that gave it out.

But that's the sort of thing that sticks in the mind of India and Indian fans, that it wasn't a friendly place to be for a long time, just like we thought it the other way.

How important is Mike Coward's book, Cricket Beyond the Bazaar? So Mike Coward, great, a doyen of sports writing in Australia, really.
