Dartford Crossing

In response to your department store episode, I'd like to confirm that Fenwick is indeed alive and well for the time being, and if you ever find yourself on the wrong side of the Dartford Crossing, you can shop in Canterbury's own Fenwick store opposite the Mackey D's.

Also, speaking of funeral tunes, there's a pivot, when my nan died, they mean grandmother, we were discussing what music to play at her funeral.

But it's a three and a half hour drive from Ipswich to Sellers Park.

I get to the Dartford Bridge.

The traffic is absolutely insane.

Then I run out of phone battery and I've got no idea where I'm going because obviously I'm using my phone to direct me.

But it was time to get out there, especially north of the Dartford Tunnel.

So RSPB Rye Meads, I spent the day there.

I've logged loads of B-rolls, so I had lots to talk about.

So two reserves in the one day and then down to RSPB Paulborough Brooks.

I didn't want to go through the tunnel again.

Why didn't I want to go through the tunnel? I think it was because the Dartford Tunnel, there was, I think the weather was different and it was a bit better at Paulborough Brooks.

So I decided to do that.

All the while, people from Kent stand on the Isle of Sheppey in the dark, looking over at the bright lights of Southend-on-Sea.

For us in Essex, it's always funny crossing the Dartford Bridge and seeing a sign that says Kent, the Garden of England, and looking around at a shithole with a giant Amazon distribution centre in the view of the sign.
