A day later, June 17th, Jim Hiller hired as the Maple Leafs head coach for Again, Keith Pelley making moves that people were really upset about.

I think John Chayka obviously had a big hand in this, but we can't sit here and pretend like Keith Pelley wasn't in those discussions as well.

Paul, what do you think of Jim Hiller in terms of, like, what you've seen from him now and sort of the progression? Because it's been, what, three months since he was hired?

Yeah, at first I was surprised, right? Like, he was on nobody's radar initially.

No analyst even had this guy as a potential option for Leafs' new head coach.

And when he got hired, I was just shocked.

I was like, wow.
