In my opinion, and a lot of, I mean, he couldn't do any wrong at this point.

I mean, you got, he started off with Dark Star and then Assault on Precinct 13, which is phenomenal.

You got Somebody's Watching Me, which is the made-for-TV movie.

He didn't do the Elvis movie.

Carpenter's second film, but really it's kind of his debut.

I mean, Dark Star was a student film that they added some scenes to to make it a feature.

So, but I love the score for this movie.

And it's like, you can tell a carpenter score a mile away.

So the pulsating it's like a ticking clock, man.

He nails it.

And pretty much like like you said, it's not his first film because technically it's Dark Star, but out of the gate.

not only is he like hey i'm a a filmmaker with a vision and a voice but he's like i can compose too my my scores are going to be original from me he nails it i think assault on precinct 13 is an all-time banger love that score
