Police say two gunmen on a motorcycle fired multiple shots at Loterte on 12 October at his bakery.

The attack happened in the village of San Roque in Daraga within Albay Province.

Loterte anchored Rabas kun Rabas for RBN News television and was an independent producer for DWIZ FM radio.

He died after being rushed to a local hospital.

Once operational, the bridge is expected to ease traffic for motorists traveling through Arayat and neighboring provinces.

In Daraga, Albay, construction of the Kilacao-Binitayan Bridge is nearing completion after remaining stalled for fifteen years.

A local news report placed the project's estimated cost at around P250 million.

However, the final contract amount and the latest official construction figures have yet to be independently confirmed.
