DAR Museum

We have a group of objects that are representative of George Washington, some very lovely morning embroideries that call out Washington especially, and some others that are dedicated to less known figures.

So this really lovely collection of family record samplers, one of which I feel like was one of the starting points for the checklist that we put together because We're borrowing it from the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum in Washington, DC, and it depicts a family tree.

So a tree is the central figure point with apples that include the names of different family members and an arch over the top with two urns on either side.

with the names of the matriarch and patriarch of the family, all of this is set within a pastoral landscape.
