Um, we have at the moment, uh, three players on the injury list.

Michelle Agyemang, Katie Reid, Daphne van Domselaar.

Um, and then sat next to them today were Celina Čurčić and Geraldine Reuteler, who I believe they, they, they deserve a place in the squad against Man United next Saturday, and they deserve the chance to show us what they can do.

Uh, I think it is time now.

And I also think Leah Williamson and Steph Catley, despite the fact that they're our starting center backs, they're not playing a lot together because of injury, and this is a team that I think defensively you've got a new goalkeeper.

Misa Rodriguez plays a very different brand of football that, than someone like Daphne van Domselaar.

Same with Anika Borba.

So I do s- view it as a Rene Slager's, like, maybe a halftime chat between all the coaches looking at this and saying, "Look, there's a threat at the back, and it's a real threat." Because it's not just Brighton are gonna try and exploit Arsenal's weaknesses.

That's not a recruitment issue.

That's, that's purely what the manager wants to play with.

So it's, it's now gonna be about, like, how do we fix that? I also think you look at this and think if Daphne van Domselaar's the goalkeeper in this team, she plays a lot higher.

She's a sweeping goalkeeper.

On Sunday, we will finally find out.

[upbeat music] So with all of that in mind, what might Arsenal actually look like as a starting 11 on Sunday? The good news from Renee's p- press conference is that apart from Daphne van Domselaar, Katie Reed, and Michelle Agyemang, everyone else is fit and available.

Elisa De Almeida probably won't be involved because she only just arrived on Thursday evening, and Renee quite understandably wants to give her a full week of training before throwing her into a competitive game.

So we can park Elisa for Brighton and start properly thinking about her from next week.

And it's, I think what's interesting is, you know, what's good for Arsenal is they've retained the, the spine, if you like, the really key spine through the team.

Van Domselaar, Catley, Williamson, Kim Little, you know, uh, Alessia Russo, Mariona, players like that, Olivia Smith, who are key, key players within that squad, and key starters for them.

And then they've sprinkled some magic around them.

So as, you know, yes, they've lost players in the likes of Beth Mead and Katie McCabe, but they still have that spine in the team, and-
