Dante's Inferno

Yeah.

So I want to talk about a game that I've actually never played that you showcased on here, and that is Dante's Inferno.

Because I remember it having a cool trailer, like one of the coolest video game trailers ever.

I would say if we ever did a tier list, Tyler, we'd have to put that on there.

But I never actually played the game itself.

So what made you want to put Dante's Inferno on there for like someone like me that's never played it before?

A few reasons.

So one, I wanted to show the horror can also be didn't have to be gone.

Like makes a Dante's Inferno look like child's play kind of.

He had it for like 25, and then he had a Dante's Inferno, like the special edition slipcover one that was like 20, and then he also had another Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which was $20.

Found another booth that had Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 for $20.

Um, and then it had all the extra stuff.

And, uh, and y- kind of a hybrid.

I've, I've got something else for, for hidden gem and whatnot, but, uh, he plays the voice of Lucifer in Dante's Inferno video game.

So I was just like, "Huh."

Oh, nice.

It just doesn't make any goddamn sense.

Like, he's kinda running around, you know, and, and it, this game, like, gives you the vibes of, you know, God of War and fucking Dante's Inferno.

Like, you're, it's, it's-

Mm-hmm

... and a scythe, and I picked the scythe because it does like these big sweeping things in front of you, and I am the only person that liked Dante's Inferno.

Um, and, and then when you get a heavy attack, you do the same thing where you pick between three different weapons, and I picked the big cartoon hammer-

It has kind of sparked the interest in the previous God of War games because I have played the PlayStation 4 and 5 games.

God of War and then God of War Ragnarok and I really enjoyed them and I don't know why I didn't play the God of War games originally because I really enjoyed Dante's Inferno on the Xbox 360 and that is essentially just a God of War game so yeah I like hack and slash games since it's from like Golden Axe so I don't honestly know why I missed it probably too deep into GTA or something I don't know But yeah, really happy to have discovered that game on the PSP because I'm like, oh, this looks like fun.

This is fun that can be had everywhere.

So yeah, looking forward to digging into that.

I do think some of these other ones are going to be very, very hard for you to get.

Yeah, like recently I've been playing Dante's Inferno on PS3 and my husband has been playing Phantasy Star Online on his GameCube.

Not on the list.

So I really don't have much knowledge of video games that came out this year.
