Dansby Swanson

Great guy.

Was working with guys like Austin Riley, Dansby Swanson.

And my son...

It went into hit with him.

You hope that Nico Horner can rebound next year.

You just need Dansby Swanson to play gold glove defense and hit home runs at this point.

You hope that Michael Bush rebounds and plays a little more like 25 than he did last year.

I don't know if that's in him or not.

Part of me thinks that's what they should do.

But there is the reality, like I said.

When you have a window of a superstar like PCA, and you're paying a lot of money to a guy like Alex Bregman who is not a spring chicken, and you have others, Nico Horner, Dansby Swanson under contract, it's really hard to invest in all those guys and not really try to go for it next season.

I understand

But...

Like I said, it got better as time went along and then obviously Dansby came back.

But just the fact that you could plug him in at third, he played great third base defense.

And then you put Alex Bregman as a DH and keep him off his feet a little bit because he is older and he's had a lot of soft tissue injuries.

could always be worse.

Be grateful, man.

Like I said, because you get to watch Dansby Swanson's defense every day, him and Nico Horner and Alex Bregman and Michael Bush.

Imagine this is the Cubs, and you have Dansby Swanson, and the Braves are in the World Series, and Dansby Swanson's going and rooting on the Braves.
