Artistically, this record left us feeling unfulfilled, hollow and like we'd compromised.

And it turns out that doesn't really sit well with us.

So we went away.

He literally stopped playing guitar for a few years, only managing to write four songs before the band regrouped.

Danny McNamara spending the time running a Manchester club and writing screenplays which he still does with his wife in fact at one point it seems they had two movies and five television shows in development in the UK although none of them has yet been made but Embrace did return they in fact had a top five album as recently as June although no one's bothered to update their Wikipedia page to reflect that fact which might be a sign of how little even their fans care about Embrace so This is the last time we're talking about them.

We will leave them in the hot summer of 2006 when they were doing a tour of the country's forests, which sounds lovely, frankly.
