Daniels Fund

Bradley spends more than the Republican Party every cycle.

So Bradley, you have the Walton Family Foundation, the Daniels Fund, which is local.

But then you also have all of these donor-directed funds like the National Philanthropic Trust, the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, the Denver Foundation.

And those, like Donors Trust, are organizations where a wealthy person can put their money, say, send it here, and then the recipient only has to declare that it came from that intermediary.

So a lot of the – we know that Waltons are pouring in because they're doing it through their own family foundation.

We know the

Daniels Fund.

Who is giving money through Denver Foundational National Philanthropic Trust? We don't know.

He is joining us.

from Denver, Colorado, and he is in an interesting role at a nonprofit organization, something we don't talk about too much, but I'd love to hear some of the unique challenges facing someone in his position as facilities and administrative services manager for Daniels Fund.

became more appealing to me as I got older than it did, you know, as I was younger.

So, um, you know, gosh, after that, you know, joined IFMA shortly after that, um, you know, and the rest is kind of history, right.

Um, eventually, you know, it kind of worked my way here to the Daniels fund, uh, you know, where I got a front row seat at the philanthropic world and got to really dive into what's important to nonprofits and, you know, and what their facilities world looks like.

So, um, Yeah, it's been a great journey so far.

And this one couldn't have held a better nexus.

It was many of our donors, two of our top donors that kind of led out on this, the Daniels Fund and the Miller Foundation with Miller Sports and Entertainment.

And when they asked the organizing committee of the 2034 Olympics to join, the answer was absolutely yes.

We need to get more kids, more access, and opportunities to play in sport.

Normally, it's only seven, so we have this extra few years, and one of the things that's really important to us at Utah 2034 is To engage communities, to use the games, the platform of the games, to really energize communities in every corner of the state, and we're doing that this year with a couple of programs.

We're gonna talk about the program coming up at Nibley, the Champion Schools program, but we're also involved in a youth sports program, and that will kick off on September 12th with Utah Youth Sport Giving Day, a program that we're doing together with Miller Sports and, uh, also with the Miller Family Foundation and the Daniels Fund.

But the education program is really special to us, and, uh, a big thanks to, uh, Ken Garff for Good Foundation for helping to put this together.

But it's, it's an important program that's going to get kids in, in, in elementary schools to understand the importance of friendship and teamwork and perseverance and some of these other great values that our Olympic and Paralympic athletes live by.
