I know you, I don't think you've ever read this author, but it's Danielle L. Jensen and she's releasing the first book in her duet of Defy the Dusk.

Oh, she writes fantastic books.

And I didn't know this book was coming out until somebody mentioned it on BookTok.

It'll fall into my dark mafia, dark romance genre of palate cleansers that I'll utilize.

Next on my list is The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen.

I've only read the first book, The Bridge Kingdom, and every time I think about that book, I get more upset.

and i like it even less that book made me so mad and it was like like okay like a book is more than just tropes right but it had all of these tropes that like i normally love um like you know forced proximity like arranged marriage like all this stuff and it all it was just so flat it was so flat and i keep seeing people like lately um like last month or two, I've been seeing people on my FYP, like talking about how much they love the bridge kingdom.

I love every character and I slip into all her stories.
