Daniel Susac, Jesus Rodriguez, Rafael Devers, Matt Chapman, Willy Adames, Marcel Mayer, Casey Schmidt, who was like absolutely going off.

Yeah.

Harrison Bader, and Victor Bericoto.

And no offense to, to Whitcomb, Kisner or Brett Harris, but the Giants just have too many guys on the 60-day IL to think that these guys will still be around at the end of October once the World Series happens.

They've got so many guys on the 60-day IL that a lot of the players claimed on waivers, specifically Whitcomb and Harris and Andrew Kisner, who was signed to a deal be- because Andrew, uh, you know, as Daniel Susac wasn't around.

They, they just probably won't be here.

So it's interesting.

They're not in a good place.

Uh, I think next season it is a combination of Susac and Cavanaugh.

I do.

And Jesus Rodriguez, I like the player.

I think that's where his skill set lies right now.

But there's, there's some question marks on this roster, and catcher is certainly one of them.

I, I think they felt good enough about Susac's defensive skills.

I think that they liked the way that he was working with the pitchers.

As these things, first of all, they have to get accepted before we dive any deeper.

But my first thought is You know, a couple of the guys that the Giants have picked up from Rule 5 draft, uh, Daniel Susac, and guys that the Giants have lost due to the Rule 5 draft.

So I'm all about getting guys to the big leagues younger.

Okay, the item that might garner the most attention, this is the off-season calendar, from fans, is a change to the off-season calendar, which is designed to incentivize free agency activity around the annual winter meetings.

Also, two catching prospects.

Interesting because the A's lost Daniel Susac in the r- Rule 5 draft.

You know, we don't have Shea Langeliers under control forever, so they're sending two catchers right now to the AFL to get them a little more time, and both those guys are at Vegas now, Cole Conn and Davis Diaz.

A lot of people may not have heard much about them.

I, I mean, I think if, if I'm looking at the situation now, it's a platoon.

Um, Cavanaugh would play against right-handed pitchers, and, uh, Susac would play against lefties.

Um, I don't know how it's all gonna unfold right now.

We're still learning Cavanaugh's game, but I'll tell you one thing we found out about him.

I'm okay with Drew Cavanaugh.

Yeah, right now, I'd say he's probably the lead candidate to be that combination with Daniel Susac going further next year from behind the plate with the guys putting it down in the squad.

I mean, I mean, Shea Whitcomb's just, you know, uh, he's a guy they picked up off waivers 10 days ago, former AAA phenom Grant McRae, I love him.

I want it to work.

... them not being particularly good at this.

Andrew, or not Andrew, Daniel Susac, he ranks 22nd among catchers in baseball.

Savant's ABS metric, Drew Cavanaugh is 50th.

That surprised me a little bit, 'cause I feel like Drew seems like he's had a pretty good handle on it.
