Memoirs of a sword swallower went in deep by a guy called Dan Mannix.

He was a 1940s carnival guy and he learned to swallow swords and he described it in great detail when the sword goes down and it touches the pit of his stomach and it makes you want to throw up.

But if you do it enough times, you lose the gag reflex.

'Cause, like, with Fox and the Hound, there was, like, a short little featurette about the movie that launched a new generation of animated films, but there were all those f- there were all these fights on Fox and the Hound about, you know, Tim Burton didn't wanna be drawing p- pretty foxes.

He wanted to make, you know, he wanted to draw more creepy designs, and Don Bluth was like, "I quit, and I'm taking f- you know, 13 other animators with me, and we're gonna all go form our own company." And, and Wolfgang Reitherman is like, "How do we take this gory book by Daniel Mannix and make it somewhat kid-friendly even though it's dark?" Like, like, and so you wonder how these, like, really dark...

'Cause I haven't read Bambi the book, but I, I wonder how much darker the book of Bambi is.

Yeah, I tried to read it along with Perry, you know, um, by the same author.

It was a beloved film for me when I saw it.

Oh, yeah, yeah, and I love the movie.

Of course, it's, the Daniel Mannix book is brutal and savage and everyone dies.
