You know, millions have been displaced, tens of thousands of civilians have been killed, and it's in this context, a context, a conflict that, you know, had already exacted a huge, enormous human toll on Yemen's civilian population, that Spear, a US private military corporation, was hired to carry out targeted assassinations for the UAE.

So as we allege in our complaints, in August twenty fifteen, one of the defendants, Abraham Golan, founded Spear Operation Group, um, here in Delaware in the United States, and he recruited, uh, codefendants, a former US Navy SEAL member, Isaac Gilmore, as his chief operating officer, and both of them were based in San Diego, California at the time.
